Youre In The Army Now

Dear friends,

As you know I love checking out the giveaways of my fellow bloggers and I like to participate. Once in a while I get to win and in return I am always sharing photos of what I got. Same in this case! At the beginning of this month, after my wedding, I got a small parcel from Connie Ann Michael.

Now the pack came as a promo to her book "1000 Sleepless Nights". It contained a cute little beanie baby teddy bear dressed as if he was part of the US Army, an army tag and 2 signed bookmarks. The book was published August 21st 2013 by Entranced Publishin and can be found on Goodreads where it has a rating of 4.33 out of 5 stars and has already 9 ratings and 10 reviews.
Here is what it is all about:
"Can you choose between fighting for your life and fighting for your heart?
Twenty-two year old Corpsman Emme Sawyer doesn’t follow rules. She’s always been the best and no one will die if she has anything to say about it.

Emme refuses to hang around the hospital waiting for the wounded to come to her and joins a Marine unit heading into Helmand Providence, the largest opium producer in Afghanistan. Shutting off her emotions, Emme focuses on what she does best…keeping her men safe. When her best friend is obliterated by a roadside bomb, Emme begins to realize she can’t save everyone. Seeking comfort from Raven, her commanding officer, Emme develops feelings that don’t belong in a combat zone where each step could be your last. As Raven reciprocates, Emme learns you can’t choose when and where love finds you..."
The book sounds interesting and placing love outside of the comfort zone is something you dont always see!

**I did not receive anything to do this post, I made it out of love for Connie who gave me this cute teddy!**

P.S. I did not even had to show my husband the teddy! He noticed it as soon as he stepped in the room and love at first sight it was! :)

Yours truly,
The LadyBug
